The time has come to end my job as editor for this Promises newsletter.  I will finish up the Nov/Dec. issue and then pass it on.  This has been quite a rewarding experience for me.

If you are interested in becoming the editor, please advise Intergroup, or your Intergroup rep., so that your name will be included in the Nov/Dec. 2006 issue of the Promises as the new editor.  The new Editor will be taking over editing for the Jan/Feb. 2007 issue.

The 3rd Quarter WORKSHOP at Palm Coast Community Center was a huge success. A nice turn-out of over 40 people to hear Fred & Cindy on the topic, The Big Book and it's application in our lives. Thanx to The Footprints in the Sand Group for hosting & supplying all that delicious reduced calorie chow.

The 4th Quarter WORKSHOP will be in November; (hopefully), hosted by The New Beginning Group. Location, Date, Facilitators, Topic (hopefully "Intergroup, History-Service-Purpose) and incidentals to be announced.

A great turn-out at The July GSR Meeting (last Monday of the month) to hear a presentation from Michael "S", our Area 14 (NFAA) Delegate, concerning his trip to N.Y to attend The General Service Conference. Over 50 plus folks were in attendance; delicious Pizza was served along with soft drinks.
