page 1 6. Donate AA literature Give the Big Book, "Twelve and Twelve," AA pamphlets, or back issues of the Grapevine and La Viña to alcoholics in hospitals and institutions. Some groups sponsor other groups by giving them AA literature to help them get started. 7. Get creative Send your letters, art, articles, and AA jokes to your area or district newsletters or to the Grapevine. You can also share experience, strength, and art on-line. Check out the on-line intergroup for sites that practice the Steps and Traditions: www.aa-intergroup.org 8. Sponsor your doctor or clergy Let professionals in your life know you're willing to speak with alcoholics they are trying to help. You can also carry the message to professionals by giving them AA pamphlets and other Conference-approved literature. 9. Read all about it The Big Book and "Twelve and Twelve" are the anchors of our sobriety. Books like Pass It On and Dr. Bob and the Good Old-timers tell us about AA history and deepen our understanding and enthusiasm for passing it on. 10. Get involved in AA's general service structure How has AA lasted so long? How does it help alcoholics around the world? Ask your group's general service rep about the workshops, round-ups, forums, and committees that serve the AA groups in your area. Look for a service sponsor to show you the ropes. 11. Go to meetings and share your experience, strength, and hope Just showing up and sharing let suffering alcoholics know that Alcoholics Anonymous really works.
